Meet Marine Corps Veteran & Owner of Right at Home Winchester — Pete Lawrence
After spending his career in the Marine Corps and as a consultant for technology companies, area native Peter Lawrence decided it was time to fulfill his dream of business ownership along with his brother Michael. They both own thriving Right at Home franchise territories.
As a young adult, Pete watched his grandparent’s health deteriorate as his parents cared for them. The situation was eye-opening, as he noticed the stress that his family felt as they struggled to provide the best care at home while balancing jobs and family. This memory influenced Pete to purchase a business in the in-home care industry, knowing that it would provide a much-needed service to other families in the community. After doing a little research, Pete recognized that Right at Home was clearly the industry leader.
Pete Talks About Life Before Right at Home
I grew up in Fauquier County, Virginia. After school, I joined the Marine Corps and fought in the first Desert Storm. Since entering civilian life, I have worked at a variety of technology companies in sales and consulting positions, providing technology to corporations and law firms. Ultimately I was inspired to open my own business and saw this industry as an opportunity to provide a valuable service to a community of people in need.
Pete's Family, Hobbies, and Ties Within His Local Community
I am married with three sons. I am active in my church and love to golf and be involved in the many community organizations through my business. My wife and I look forward to raising our family in the Shenandoah Valley and strengthening our ties within the community.
