Karlie, Caregiver
of
March 2021
Karlie Marshall, Caregiver of March 2021
Please join us in congratulating our newest caregiver of the month, Karlie Marshall! Karlie has been working for Right at Home for only six months, but she has certainly impressed. In a short period of time, Karlie has proven to be an extremely reliable and dedicated caregiver. When we asked Karlie why she believes she is getting this award she simply stated because she is herself. “I think I’m getting this award because I am me. I always had a passion to help others & I think it shows through in my willingness to work. You also get to actually know your client, so it never feels like a day of ‘work’ “.
Our family-orientated culture and our appreciation for our caregivers were just some of the contributing factors that led Karlie to work for Right at Home. She is genuinely grateful for our flexibility and how we consistently remind our caregivers that they are appreciated. “I worked at a home health agency in the past where they did not care about the needs of their employees which is what brought me to Right at Home. Right at Home always compromises with me and always lets me know how important I am. My favorite part about working here is the history, it is not just a small room like a nursing facility it is a whole house full of history, old photos, and new memories that will last a lifetime”.
Karlie is not only a phenomenal caregiver and hard worker, but she is also a mother. Outside of work Karlie loves to do anything that involves having fun with her daughter. Congratulations again Karlie and thank you for all that you do!
Samantha, Caregiver
of
February 2021
Samantha Delecia, Caregiver of February 2021
Please join us in congratulating our caregiver of the month, Samantha Delecia! Samantha has been working with us for over a year now, and her consistent work ethic and dedication have certainly caught our attention (along with that of her clients). Caring for our clients and her own family has taught her the importance of empathy and compassion. She has said “I deserve this award because of my hard work and loyalty!”… and we could not agree more.
Samantha began her career in home care after caring for her Grandmother; she knew in that moment that working with the elderly was her calling. She takes pride in being able to make people feel safe, secure, happy, and independent in their homes. As such, she lives the Right at Home mission every day. Outside of work, She enjoys spending time with her children and simply being a Mother.
We feel extremely blessed to have Samantha on our team! She is the kind of caregiver that makes a difference on every shift, with every client she meets. Thank you, Samantha, again for all you have done and continue to do for our clients.
Brittany, Caregiver of
January 2021
Brittany Haggerty, Caregiver of January 2021
Please put your hands together and help us congratulate our caregiver of the month, Brittany Haggerty! This award is well deserved, Brittany is one of the most devoted and hands-on caregivers we have ever had join our team. She treats her client like family, and she is dedicated to his health and wellbeing. Brittany has only been with Right at Home for six months and her work ethic has not gone unnoticed in this office. “I am extremely hard working, and I go above and beyond for my client and I try to help out and fill in whenever I can”. It is an understatement when Brittany says she works hard, she would work 24 hours straight for her current client to make sure he has coverage. We can always count on her to be reliable, pick up shifts and keep up with all medical information and appointments for her client. Brittany’s only experience with homecare was when she took care of her grandmother and now, she is working with a full assist client. Working twelve hours a day and six days a week, Brittany has truly dedicated her life to her client, “I love being able to connect with clients and build a relationship with them and have them feel comfortable and cared for”. One of her favorite quotes that gets her through the work day is “you can’t go back and change the beginning, you can start where you are and change the ending”. Outside of her busy schedule at work Brittany has two children and many dogs. She loves to travel as much as possible and spend time with her family. Congratulations again Brittany, we are so grateful to have you on our team!
Dina, Caregiver of
December 2020
Dina Foulkes, Caregiver of December 2020
Please join us in congratulating our caregiver of the month for December Dina Foulkes! Dina has been with the Right at Home team for almost a year and she is one of our most reliable caregivers. Dina is the type of caregiver that goes to three to four different clients a day. She truly has that send me to any client kind of attitude and we never hear any complaints. Dina is genuinely a people person when it comes to her clients, she finds it fulfilling to care for the elderly and used to help the elderly in her community before becoming a caregiver. “Well, I took care of my grandparents for years and I used to help the elderly people on my street back in the day. I just love working and helping the elderly”.
Dina expressed that she appreciates the recognition and was excited that she was being rewarded. She went from hearing about us through a friend while looking for a part time job to caregiver of the month in less than a year! Dina not only loves getting to know and care for her clients but outside of work it is all about her family and friends. “I like hanging out with my family and friends when I can and in the summer, I love going swimming with my daughter and granddaughter” Congratulations Dina, we deeply appreciate you!
William, Caregiver of
November 2020
William Nash, Caregiver of November 2020
Please join us in congratulating our caregiver of the month William Nash! William joined Right at Home during the height of the pandemic, his entire hiring process was done virtually, and he is a true gem to have on our team. Will has faced several challenges during his short time with right at home. Home care can be female dominated and most of our clients prefer female caregivers which made it difficult to find William a client. Will was patient and once we had someone available a month later, he did not hesitate to take the case. William was also the first caregiver that agreed to work in a positive COVID19 home. When Will received the unfortunate news he would have to leave the case, he still decided to work in the home; potentially risking his health to make sure his client was taken care of. Will is the epitome of a selfless caregiver and his clients are grateful to have him. “I think the reason I'm getting this award is because of what I stand for: my hard work, my integrity, I am understanding of my clients and I’m there to care for them no matter what the circumstances are”.
William’s love and compassion for the healthcare field started with his Mother, His mother was an LPN and he took care of her towards the end of her time. Will also promised her he would pursue a career in healthcare to keep her legacy going. “The person that I got all my training, compassion, and understanding from is my mom. She was an LPN for 40-plus years and she did the hospital scene and the nursing home scene and she always said, Son you always have the ability to do Healthcare because you have a heart full of love, gratitude and understanding that you can give to people and their families”.
Will genuinely believes if you love your job it is not really a job, it is a fulfilling part of your day that you cherish every moment of. William, congratulations once again and we are profoundly grateful to have you apart of our team!
Rebekah, Caregiver
of October 2020
Rebekah Brown, Caregiver of October 2020
Please join us in congratulating our caregiver of the month Rebekah Brown! Rebekah has been with Right at home since January of 2018 and her dedication to our clients must be awarded. Rebekah is the type of caregiver that is always there to pick up shifts for any client and she rarely ever misses a shift. Rebekah brown is a true hard worker, she is currently on the schedule working six to seven days a week! “I feel like I’m getting this award because I pick up extra shifts and I care about my clients”. Her attention to detail is amazing, she is always one step ahead and does things for our clients they did not even know they needed. We have never had her go to a client that has not asked to have her back or ask to keep her as a caregiver “forever”.
Rebekah got her start working in home care after moving in with her great grandmother to be her caretaker. “Years ago, my kids and I left our home to move in with my great grandmother to take care of her”. Rebeka enjoyed taking care of her family so much she decided to take on homecare by applying with us at Right at Home. “I just enjoy helping people, I also enjoy talking and listening to the client’s stories”.
Outside of work Rebekah enjoys spending time with her family and her grandkids. Congratulations again Rebekah, we appreciate your selfless attitude and all the sacrifices you make to provide quality care to our clients every day!
Michelle, Caregiver of
September 2020
Michelle Brooks, Caregiver of September 2020
Please join our team in congratulating our new caregiver of the month, Michelle Brooks! Michelle has been with us since June of this year and she has shown compassion and outstanding reliability to our clients and office staff. Michelle is the type of caregiver that will go to multiple clients in one day, pull in 10-hour shifts, and help cover any open shifts we have available. She truly goes above and beyond to perform high quality care for our clients and is the epitome of our mission statement.
Michelle got interested in home care after taking care of her grandmother during her last years. Michelle was adamant about not letting her grandmother go to a nursing home and spending her final years in the comfort of her own home. “When my grandmother got sick and went on hospice, they wanted to put her in a nursing home. Being able to keep my grandmother in her home while she passed just meant so much to me. I was holding her hand when she passed and wouldn’t have had it any other way”.
Michelle genuinely finds it rewarding to take care of others and to make a difference in their lives. After a friend suggested she should go into home care, Michelle decided to work in a facility. This is where Michelle learned all her personal care skills for several years but switched to homecare for a more personal experience with her clients. “After several years of working in a facility I wanted to try home care. I absolutely love home care because it is so much more personal and one on one. I really take the time to get to know my clients and their family’s needs and wants. It is rewarding knowing that I can make them smile and make their day a little brighter”.
Michelle does not particularly have any favorites quotes to share but staying positive and coffee helps her get through her day. “I will say that I always try to start my day on a positive note and that I always try to stay positive while adapting to any situation that may arise. Also, I drink a lot of coffee which puts pep in my step. I enjoy spending my spare time with my friends & family. But also, nothing beats some quiet time just curled up in a blanket on the couch, reading a good book or watching a movie”. Congratulations Michelle! We are so grateful to have you apart of the Right at Home team!
Lin, Caregiver of
August 2020
Lin Braddick, Caregiver of August 2020
Please join the Right at Home team in congratulating our caregiver of the month, Lin Braddick! Lin was originally going to come on board in August of 2019 but after an unfortunate accident she joined the team in January 2020 instead. This accident truly opened her eyes on the importance of caregiving and what it’s all about. “I had a catastrophic injury and broke my neck, but it turned out to be a good thing because I had a number of people helping to take care of me. I learned how important it is to have a caregiver that connects with you. I have since recovered and been released by my doctor”.
Lin empathizes and can relate to what it is like to need a helping hand. She needed help when she was injured, and she gained experience in caregiving after taking care of her late husband. “I became a caregiver because I learned on the job with my husband. He had dementia and I took care of him in my home for the Last 5 Years of his life. He passed away in 2016 and I was thinking that it was time for me to change careers. It was suggested to me that I become a caregiver and here I am!”
Right at Home recognizes that taking care of your family is experience as well; You do not have to work at an establishment to have experience in homecare. “Right at home is a good fit for me because they considered my prior experience, even though it wasn't on the job. It was in my home with my husband”.
Lin genuinely loves what she does and enjoys building connections with her clients and hearing about their lives. In addition to being a caregiver, Lin is also a horseback riding instructor. Outside of work she likes to ride horses on her farm in Limerick. Congratulations Lin, we are lucky to have you on our team!

Jennifer comes with a great deal of experience; she has been a CNA for over 15 years and is one of our most flexible caregivers. “I've done home health care and was also a CNA for over 15 years. I do my best and help whenever I can, I’m also very flexible when they are changing my schedule or adding more patients to it”.
Jennifer sincerely loves taking care of clients who are in need and learning about their past experiences, it lifts her spirits to uplift others every day. “I love helping people and listening to the stories about when they were growing up. I enjoy spending time and helping people that are unable to help care for themselves. It brings me joy to see I put a smile on their faces”.
Right at Home left a lasting impression on Jenn when she decided to accept the position with us. Jennifer was impressed with our overall professionalism and family-oriented attitude during the hiring process. “I needed a job and it showed up on Indeed and I applied for the position. They were the only ones who seemed to have it all together and seemed like a good company to work for”.
Jennifer is the epitome of a hard worker and represents our company well, we are so grateful to have her a part of the Right at Home Team. An inspirational quote that gets her through the day is to “Work hard for what you want because it won’t come to you without a fight. You must be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive”.
Outside of work Jenn loves to hang out with friends, go deep sea fishing, and long walks on the beach. Thank you so much for all you do Jennifer, this award is well deserved!

Right at Home was Kayla’s first experience working in home care and she has come so far. She has gone from a companion level caregiver, having only worked with family, to hands on personal care. “Right at Home was my first time working in homecare, but I helped my grandparents out when they needed it. I enjoyed helping my grandparents and I would want someone like myself to help me when I’m older”.
Kayla is one of our most reliable caregivers with outstanding attendance and genuine compassion for the clients she serves. Right at Home was Natalie’s first experience working in home care and her past employment as a deacon exemplifies why she has such a natural commitment to serve others. “My favorite part is taking care of the client and getting to know their family. I work hard to make them feel comfortable enough to leave their loved ones in my hands. My experience as a Deacon has served me well because a Deacon serves the members of the church”. Natalie serves each family while taking care of their loved ones; Natalie genuinely enjoys taking care of people and making them feel comfortable in their own home.

Colleen brings four years of facility experience to our agency, and she got her start with us after meeting our owner, Steve at a job fair. “Right at Home had a table set up at my school. Kathryn has been with Right at Home for almost two years, and every client of hers has had nothing but positive things to say about her work ethic. Kathy is the type of caregiver to go above and beyond for her clients, so her caregiver of the month recognition is well-deserved.
Kathryn’s start in home care wasn’t at an agency, it was very personal. “My mother had 10 strokes and the last one left her paralyzed. After several years, it really took a toll on my father & sister. I quit my job, flew out to her home and brought her back to live with me”. Kathryn also made it her mission to provide the best care possible for her clients due to her personal experience and neglect she’s witnessed at nursing home facilities. “I’ve had family & friends in the care of nursing homes. They were mistreated & neglected, and I will never let that happen to anyone in my care”.

Regina also emphasized how important her job is to her and how much she loves taking care of our clients. “I do my best; I try to help out but overall I just love my job. I also like to work toward making their situation better”. Beverly’s first client with Right at Home was very personal to her, “I once was a caregiver for my cousin. When her health began to decline, she needed longer care hours than what she was presently receiving. Her family contacted RAH & they helped her with more coverage. Mr. Gettins contacted me personally and invited me to become part of Right at Home. I agreed and have been with them ever since”.
Outside of work Beverly loves going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends. Beverly also keeps her favorite quote on her counter to remind her to never give up. “ I have a poem entitled (don't quit) on a counter at home. It reminds me not to give up, even when I fail. I love my job because I’m giving a blessing every day and I truly care about the people I take care of. What brought me to RAH was the supportive atmosphere and good people. When I was pregnant and going through some tough times this job was supporting me, working with me and I will never forget that. Thank you to all the old staff and thank you to all the new staff that I met over these past few years.” Valerie is one of the most positive and uplifting caregivers we have, her attitude is truly inspiring, and she lights up the office whenever she stops in. . . as she undoubtedly does for her clients as well.

Regina Sanders
Caregiver of the Year
2019
Regina Sanders, Caregiver of the Year 2019
Right at Home Staff would like to congratulate Regina Sanders for earning our Caregiver of the Year for 2019! Regina is a very kind, caring, and uplifting caregiver that every client would love to have in their home. Regina is punctual and exceedingly reliable. She is a team player and a perfect role model for other caregivers given her impact on our brand reputation and client passion. We all know it is sometimes difficult for some clients to accept care. There are also many who require a special level of care. Regina has engaged many of these clients and they have flourished in her care. One of her current clients refused caregivers due to her anxiety. Once we introduced Regina, this client will only accept care from her.
Regina’s patience and understanding are on always on display. Her compassion shows in her own comments: “I once had a very difficult client but he and I just got along; it’s just the way you approach different situations, and you have to see it from their point of view; we’re not coming in to take over, you tell us what you need help with, and I help you with that.” This attitude represents what Right at Home is all about… and we cannot thank Regina enough for living it every day.
Regina’s consistency and reliability are signature her. Her work ethic infects everyone around her including support staff in the Right at Home office and her coworkers in the field. Regina is at the top of our list of caregivers to call when there is a last-minute call out or urgent need. And though she cannot take every client, Regina’s name always come to mind when there is a new client coming on board. Her fellow caregivers always praise her work and feel great about coming in for shifts after her, as they always know care was tip-top during her time there. Well done Regina!
