Every business is only as good as their people. Our team's focus is on caring . . . caring for our clients, caring for our caregivers, and caring for our community. We live and breathe our mission each and every day, with the goal of helping our clients navigate their life journeys.
Dave Eustis
Owner
Right at Home of southwestern Illinois, with offices in Belleville and Edwardsville, is locally owned and operated by David Eustis. His purpose is simple, to provide the very best in-home care for the elderly, and others in need, within Madison, Monroe and St Clair counties in Illinois.
This is accomplished by:
• Recruiting, training and developing quality Caregivers who share our vision for excellence in service to our clients
• Discussing and understanding our client’s specific needs, in an open and compassionate manner, which allows for the development of a customized plan of care
• Continuing the dialogue with client / family members during service so that the plan of care / services provided are adjusted as the client’s needs change
• Providing leadership in senior care within southwestern Illinois
David brings to Right at Home southwestern Illinois over thirty years of management experience within both the retail and nonprofit sectors. Prior to investing in Right at Home, David served in a leadership role within HeartLands Conservancy, a regional, environmental nonprofit serving southwestern Illinois. It was in this position that he gained a deeper understanding and level of experience in guiding a mission-based organization. He is proud to be able to bring this mission-based model to Right at Home southwestern Illinois.
In 1998, David was involved in a tractor accident, which caused him to lose one leg, and much of the function in his second leg. While the accident was unfortunate, it did serve as a life-lesson towards understanding the needs, both physical and emotional, of those individuals who have, or are in the process of losing some of their mobility or ability to care for themselves. Dave understands first-hand how important it is to choose the right in-home care company, as he went through the process himself. He enjoys sharing this unique insight with both caregivers and clients.
With a need for additional space, Dave moved the main office from Collinsville to a refurbished building in Belleville in 2020. In 2022, he further expanded to include a satellite office in Edwardsville/Glen Carbon.
David resides in Waterloo with his wife Tamara. He has taken on the challenge of training and raising a service dog (wheelchair assist), and in return for the effort, enjoys the unconditional love of our Red-Fox Labrador Retriever. David is a passionate fan of the St Louis Cardinals, The Ohio State University football, and Syracuse University basketball. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Monroe County Mental Health Board.
