Caregiver of the Year — Christina S. of Maryville, IL was awarded our Caregiver of the Year for 2020. Christina constantly goes above and beyond ordinary care, to create extraordinary care experiences for her clients. She always goes the extra mile to make sure she leaves them with a smile on their face, and always has a smile on hers. She is always there with a helping hand to the office team and her fellow caregivers. Christina is always filling shifts when needed, and loves to motivate the Right at Home team with encouraging words. Christina proudly represents Right at Home, not only at work but outside of work as well. We are always receiving compliments about Christina's care and how awesome she is as a Caregiver. Christina Shaak from Maryville, Illinois received Right at Home's highest praise for creating extraordinary care experiences with the power of simple moments connecting with clients. Christina works very hard every single day to make sure she is giving the best possible care she can to her client. Christina has been caregiving in one form or another since she was a little girl around nine years old. Her favorite thing about caregiving is getting to know other people and how they live. She loves making them happy and keeping them independent and in their home. The most rewarding part of her job is when she can connect with her client and they trust her to care for them. When she isn't caring for others she loves to garden and go on nature walks.
Caregiver Spotlight — Raven Eskridge
A Caregiver who goes the extra mile to help pick up shifts when needed and is always there to lend a helping hand, Raven Eskridge from East Saint Louis, Illinois deserves recognition and our deepest appreciation. Raven's favorite thing about caregiving is helping other people who are in need. In the past her grandfather had dementia, so she was able to care for him. That is what motivated her to become a Caregiver herself. The most rewarding part of her job is making new relationships with her clients. When she isn't caring for her clients, she loves watching crime shows and cooking. A fun fact about Raven is she loves to travel. If she could travel anywhere in the world she would travel to Japan and Africa.

A Caregiver who goes above and beyond, Jeanna Rose from East Saint Louis, Illinois was recognized for her dedication and service to her clients. Jeanna’s favorite thing about caregiving is getting to know all her clients and listening to their stories. The pandemic is what motivated her to become a Caregiver. The most rewarding part of her job is helping her clients to become healthier and stronger. When she isn't caring for her clients, she loves to read interesting novels. If Jeanna could travel anywhere in the world she would travel to Paris or France. A fun fact about her is that her zodiac sign is Leo.
