Caregiver of the Year 2021
1) Character
When it comes to dedication, compassion and a complete focus on their client, there is no caregiver at Right at Home of Central New Jersey who is any better. Mercy has been a part of our family since 2013 and is one of the most loyal caregivers anyone could hope to know.
Mercy has an incredibly calm and soothing manner and knows that caring for others is their calling. They are a natural born caregiver and has the skills to handle any situation and have a positive result from it.
2) Client Impact
We know Mercy believes that we are tasked with taking care of others as we would want others to take care of us and believes she finally found her calling when she started working with our elderly clients. The motto of Right at Home of Central New Jersey is and always has been that we will take care of your family the way we would want others to take care of our own family and Mercy lives that with her actions and devotion every day.
This live-in caregiver has been with her client for 8 years, which is almost unheard of in the home care industry. The companionship she provides and the assistance for their client, who struggles with mobility issues, allows the client to continue to live safely at home. And because so much of the client’s family lives far away, knowing that their family member is receiving such wonderful care relieves the worries that can arise when you cannot be there in person to help your family member.
3) Brand Ambassador
As someone who is dedicated to their clients and to our company, Mercy has been an excellent brand ambassador and example of what our company is all about: caring, compassion, kindness. Her loyalty to Right at Home of Central New Jersey is remarkable and makes her a wonderful example of why families can entrust the care of their loved ones to Right at Home.
4) Team Player
We at Right at Home of Central New Jersey consider ourselves so fortunate and blessed that Mercy came to us and has become such a very valuable part of our team, appreciated by all of us here as well as her clients. She has told us time and time again that their home is Right at Home of Central New Jersey and that will always be the case. Knowing that makes us all so incredibly grateful to the caregiver.
5) Resilience
Knowing that even with a pandemic our clients and their families relied upon us to keep them safe and protected wherever they call home, our dedicated and trusted caregiver believed that being vaccinated and tested, as well as always wearing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided to them by Right at Home of Central New Jersey, would not only keep them safe but allow them to safely care for our clients. It was extraordinarily beneficial to know that her dedication and determination to help others was not affected by the pandemic and was something that our clients and their families not only relied upon but were dependent upon.
