Right at Home owner Jim Gall, who serves as the Co-Chair for the Midland Walk to End Alzhiemer’s, discusses the 2019 Walk with the Midland Daily News. Jim has been serving on the Walk Committee for seven years and has been the Co-Chair for the last three events.

Walk to End Alzheimer's is one of the world's largest events raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research, and includes annual walks in more than 600 communities across the country. According to the event's website, 337 people signed up to participate in this year's 2.1-mile Midland walk, comprising 54 teams.

Alzheimer’s, and other forms of dementia, impact so many of those we care for and our own family members. Right at Home is proud to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. You can help by starting or joining a team, or you can come to an event to help raise the funds to fight this disease! Join us so we can someday see a world free from this disease!

"On walk day, a bunch of people show up, so I'm expecting (the final count to be) about 450," said Jim Gall, co-chair of the Midland Walk to End Alzheimer's. "Our registered teams and registered walker (amounts) were up this year from last year by at least 10 to 15%."
