Caregiver's Day Off
Right at Home – Northern Michigan will once again be organizing and sponsoring the 2nd Annual Great Lakes Bay Caregiver Retreat on September 18, 2018. We see family caregivers struggle every day with trying to care for a loved-one – caring for a spouse, caring for a parent or even caring for a child – as well as taking care of themselves. Family caregivers can quickly burn out and often feel alone. The Great Lakes Bay Caregiver Retreat will give family caregivers ‘the day off’. We will have motivational speakers, pampering (massages and mani’s/peti’s) as well as arts and crafts / make and take projects. The event will be held at Bay Valley Christian Church in Bay City, Michigan. The exact times and program are still in the works so stay tuned!
