Yes. We do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right caregiver with you and your family by using our proprietary screening and selection system. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. Your satisfaction is important so we try to accommodate requests for a change in caregivers, as allowed by law.

Our goal is to establish a long-term caregiving relationship with your loved one. Should your family want to request another caregiver for any reason, we'll search for a match until your family is happy. We understand that a strong rapport and trust with a caregiver are vital to a successful in-home care experience.

If your loved one receives care for many hours in a day or at different times of the day throughout the week, it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver in a given week. If your family requires multiple caregivers, our goal is the same: We want you to be satisfied and happy. We'll do what it takes to make sure we achieve that goal.

Right at Home Snohomish County is a non-medical home care agency. However, we can do medication reminders as well as medication administration under doctor's orders. Please call us to talk about your specific needs. Give us a call at (425) 290-1714.

Yes, under our current policy we ask that you provide 72 hours for a change of schedule and 5 business days for cancellation. If it is deemd emergent by the office staff then we do not bill for a canceled shift.

Right at Home uses a combination of internet solutions, one is called Telephony, a software program that verifies time and attendance. This allows you to have a record of care services provided. You may call our scheduler as well to confirm that a caregiver has properly clocked in and out for their shift(s).

Also, our itemized invoices are always sent after services are complete. This lets you ask any questions about time or date of care, and it allows us to make any schedule adjustments before your next invoice is sent.

The only services that need a prescription are those for medication administration under a delegating nurse, as well as a prescription for any exercises that we will be assisting with that are prescribed by a licensed physician or physical therapist.

The cost of in-home care depends on the number of care hours and frequency of visits, as well as the types of services needed. This information is gathered during the in-home care assessment and used to create a custom care plan that is focused on your unique needs.

Our home care services are typically billed on an hourly basis. Right at Home offers a free download of our Ways To Pay for In-Home Senior Care Guide that gives information about the median monthly cost of care in the U.S., as well as programs that can help pay for the service.

To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our local office.

Right at home Snohomish County is also a VA provider through the HHHA program and Respite Program. We can provide services that are paid for the LEOFF as well as some other HSAs.

Medicare Parts A and B do not pay for ongoing assistance with the activities of daily living (called “custodial care” in the exclusions of Medicare plans). Medicare Advantage (also called “Part C”) may cover some services in the home (referred to as “in-home support”). To understand the benefits of Medicare, visit www.medicare.gov.

Long-term care insurance (depending on the policy and the plan of care) may assist in paying for a variety of home-based and facility care services.

We’ve cared for thousands of families just like yours. There are a variety of ways to pay for in-home care. Right at Home offers a free download of our Ways to Pay for In-Home Senior Care Guide that gives information about the programs that can help pay for the service.

You never have to pay caregivers directly. Whether you are in the planning stages or need immediate care, you don’t want to spend your time managing the financial and legal obligations of employing a caregiver. With Right at Home, you don’t have to. Because our caregivers are employed by our independently owned and operated office, you don’t have to worry about federal, state or Social Security taxes. Caregivers are bonded/insured and properly screened, including criminal and background checks. You (or an authorized representative) are only invoiced after the completion of services. Usually, this happens weekly. And, you'll never be asked to pay an additional fee to any employee.

We adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines related to privacy of personal and health care information. This starts once we have a formal service agreement, before a caregiver even comes to your family member's home. The written service agreement stipulates the exact restrictions on the use of your information, which clarifies that unauthorized individuals will not be given access to information without a client's or their legally authorized representative's formal consent.

Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and caregivers who are directly involved in your service will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.

Give us a call. We'll arrange a time to visit you, your family and/or any authorized representative to fully discuss your particular home care situation and how Right at Home might help.

Together, we'll go over the care your family needs and the care we provide. We'll answer all of your questions regarding in-home care services and costs. Then, we'll begin putting together your custom care plan and matching your loved one with the right caregiver. Usually, care can begin within a matter of a few days.

"Right at Home has just provided a good service. I haven't had any bad experiences. They do things that I can't do anymore. They vacuum for me, clean my bathroom, make my bed, and change my sheets. The caregiver knows what to do and I don't have to tell her what to do. The Right at Home caregiver is understanding and asks me what more she can do when she finishes a task."

"We visited this office, to do research for a family member. It was a great environment, we enjoyed it. We met Heather at the front desk, she was very kind and helpful towards my family member and I, we get the hunch that she is a great caregiver! She was able to provide us with plenty of brochures, and explained some of the details about this specific company's operations. The office staff at this location are superb."

"I selected Right at Home Snohomish because I had used them previously and was happy with them before. They are very reliable. The people they have sent have worked very well with me and I have been able to get everything accomplished that I want. They are helping with getting me to doctor's appointments and places I want to be. They help around the house and get things organized. They do a quick run through to see if they can find anything they should be worried about. They have all seemed interested in getting things done and helping me out. They have done things like make suggestions as to what can be done to reduce the chance of falls. They have made suggestions to reduce clutter so I can find and get to them more easily. They have been helpful in non-medical ways. They have done well at letting me know what will be going on in the coming weeks."

"I have a veteran man who has dementia so I called the VA and they recommend Right at Home. I like that I can leave the house without worrying about my husband. It keeps my sanity because I can have a day off and it allows him to see another friendly face. The caregiver is pretty good, she is personable, has a good personality, and puts a lot of effort into what she does. She takes care of watching my husband so he doesn't wonder off and helps with preparing his meals. I love her compassion and she is considerate. She takes care of emotional needs. The communication with the office staff has been excellent, I can't think of anything they could do to improve."

"I researched three companies, and Right at Home was the only one that had reached out. I have already recommended them. They are caring, professional and responsive. They look after my husband and me. They come two afternoons a week. As soon as they, arrive I am able to leave the house without worrying about my husband. The caregiver looks out for my husband's best interest. She reports and communicates clearly. She doesn't like to sit idly. She sweeps, mops the floor, and cleans the house. She attended additional training to get more skills so she could help us. The scheduling person is really responsive. Anytime I call to make a change, they make it happen. We looked over Jerry's care plan and were able to meet his needs."

"They were recommended to me. I would tell someone that they do what they say they are going to do. The caregivers assist my mother with medication and food. They help with the daily stuff. I have never met them, but they seem likable and I like that the caregivers have humility towards my mother. I like that the caregiver does not talk down to my mother. They provide constant communication when my mother tries to change something. They get in touch with me right away."

"They're prompt, professional, and the quality of care is great. They've helped out by being there for us and for taking care of everything we need them to take care of. They do light housekeeping and stand-by assists to make sure Olivia isn't going to fall. They're here to support us. They're very easy to get a hold of. If they don't answer the phone when I call, they call right back. They're just great. They match the caregiver up with Olivia, personality-wise and everything. They know beforehand that the caregiver is going to work well with Olivia. I don't believe there's anything they could do to improve. They already go above and beyond."
