Our Mission
Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.
Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.
Robert and Karla Strickland, Owners
The Saltillo / Northeast Mississippi Right at Home office is a locally, veteran owned and operated business by Karla and Robert Strickland.
Karla and Robert opened their Right at Home business after witnessing firsthand how in-home care impacted their lives. Karla’s father passed away, and care for her 99-year-old grandmother was necessary. Their experience with in home care was stress free, and it gave them peace of mind while at work each day, as well as companionship for her grandmother.
Robert is a native to the Tupelo area and Karla grew up in West Bloomfield, MI. After graduating High School Karla moved to Mississippi. Karla received her AA degree from Itawamba Community College and completed numerous business courses at the University of Mississippi.
“We opened Right at Home because we saw a need for quality senior care in our area.” When hiring caregivers, the first question we ask ourselves is “would we feel comfortable sending this person to take care of our loved one?”
Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life for those we serve by providing senior home care consulting and elderly caregiving services. We provide these services with the help of best practices put in place to ensure the highest quality of care.
