Karla Strickland, Owner

My Role: As the owner of Right at Home, it is our responsibility to provide the best care and services to our entire client base. As a leader I must also ensure that the staff providing care are fully equipped with the tools necessary to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Training and ongoing communication with our Caregivers and Clients is essential to our success. We operate daily with transparency ensuring client satisfaction.

What motivates me: My motivation comes from my staff and our clients. I am a result driven individual and when I see satisfied clients and happy caregivers, this provides continued motivation for me and Right at Home to be the best Home Care agency in Northeast Mississippi.

Why I love my job: Right at Home allows me the opportunity to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We provide needed care for many that cannot care for themselves. We make a difference in our client lives every day, allowing them to remain home and age gracefully where they want to be Right at Home. I love my job because we provide the Right Care, Right at Home.

Dawn Hardenburg, Office and Care Manager

My role: I serve Right at Home of Northeast MS as our Office and Care Manager. I am responsible for inquires, consulting with families, performing assessments, and working to ensure our clients receive quality care. I manage office functions and work directly with each office team member and work to maintain a profitable business. Outside of the office, I work with our community and other health care companies and professionals to help our senior and disabled individuals receive the highest quality of care in all areas.

What motivates me: Opportunity motivates me. I have several opportunities in my position. First, I have a never-ending opportunity to learn; whether it be from our clients, staff members, or circumstances, I am always learning a better way. One of my main opportunities and goal is to improve someone’s quality of life. I, myself, may not be the hands, but I get be a part of the bigger picture and help arrange the pieces which is one of the greatest feelings of accomplishment. Last, but certainly not least, is the opportunity to employee our caregiving team! We look to find the best caregivers with the biggest hearts and give them opportunity and training to become better inside and out. I am personally touched and motivated by so much of the work of our Right at Home team! I am fortunate to be able to grow my career with the right people, doing the right things, the right way, for the right reasons.

Why I love my job: I have unlimited potential to help change people’s lives each day. This is more than just a job; this is my passion. In my time with Right at Home, I have seen a shift where more and more personal connections are made. I love knowing I can be a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers to further my mission of improving the quality of life for those I serve.

Tasha Moss, Care Supervisor

My role: As a Care Supervisor for Right at Home, it is my responsibility to handle all scheduling for clients and caregivers, along with ensuring that the best caregiver is matched with the appropriate client. I also assist in the recruiting process by conducting interviews with potential employees. In addition to those responsibilities, I answer incoming calls to the office, assist with inquiry calls from those interested in care for themselves or a family member and manage client care plans.

What motivates me: I was a caregiver for Right at Home for a little over a year prior to becoming the Care Coordinator that later evolved into me becoming the Care Supervisor and that has been very beneficial for me in this role. One of the things that motivates me personally, is knowing the difference it makes for every client when they receive the care, they truly need no matter what the exact need is. I first handedly, as a caregiver, had the opportunity to make those differences for the clients I served and that is such a satisfying feeling. I reference to my experiences as a caregiver to motivate those that are also stepping into a caregiver role.

Why I love my job: My genuine passion for being a helping hand to the elderly and disabled in whichever way it may be, as a caregiver or as a Care Supervisor, is why I love my job. I have the opportunity to serve our clients in their homes and now I am able to continue to serve them on a different level. When I have a client express their endless appreciation for the care they receive, it warms my heart. It is a gratifying reminder to why I chose to work with the elderly and disabled.

Barbra Wooldridge, Billing Specialist

My role: I am responsible for billing processing and answering calls to our office. Mainly, I work directly with Long Term Care insurance companies and the Medicaid Waiver program. Although, I primarily focus on billing processes, I also manage Accounts Receivable payment entry and adjustments. I help monitor caregiver’s clock in/out process.

What motivates me: My past varied work experiences help me at Right at Home to provide excellent customer service for both caregivers and clients.

Why I love my job: This job gives me the feeling of really making a difference in many people’s lives with the services we provide.
