Areas We Serve

Right at Home Ventura County is Proud to Provide In-home Care for Ventura, Oxnard, and Port Hueneme, CA

Right at Home of Ventura County provides all aspects of In Home Care Services in Ventura, Oxnard and Port Hueneme. We are honored to care for seniors, disabled adults and provide post- surgery care. When clients are scheduled for short stays or outpatient procedures like cataracts, hip or knee replacements, Right at Home provides transportation to and from the clinic or hospital. After the procedure we help the client settle back at home, picking up medications, preparing nutritious meals, and helping the client attend any follow up appointments. Care includes light housekeeping, cooking, transportation, one on one assistance with bathing, toileting, medication reminders, transfers, and end of life care. We can provide care for as little as 4 hours up to 24 hours per shift. Every client has a personalized care plan.

Our caregivers are compassionate, hardworking, experienced, and have passed 2 background checks. We provide one on one care in the comfort of your home, Assisted Living, Rehabilitation Centers or Independent Living facilities (wherever they call home).

Right at Home facilitates the only support group in Ventura County for family caregivers and the patient with early stage dementia or memory loss. This meeting is a volunteer activity on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association, and takes place at Pacific Neuroscience, the office of Dr. Sutton. He provides care for individuals suffering from dementia and movement disorders like Parkinson’s disease. When the doctor is available, he stops by the support group answering questions participants may have about dementia or care. This is unique in that is an informal “roundtable with a neurologist”. A typical meeting has about 10 to 12 people sharing recent developments and the individual with memory loss can discuss their personal challenges. We share our stories of life’s joys as well, talking about planned trips, visits from families and friends, and sharing gratitude for small things in our daily lives. It is supportive and friendly.

We can provide our senior care services wherever your loved one lives, even if it is in a facility. Care can be provided in Shoreline Care Center, Maywood Care Center, Glenwood Care Center, Coastal View Care Center, Victoria Care Center, Aegis Assisted Living, the Palms Assisted Living and Memory Care, Pacifica Senior Living, Cypress Place, Lexington Assisted Living, the Ventura Townehouse, the Post Acute Rehab Center, The Bonaventure Independent Living, Clearwater Independent Living, and Treacy Villa. Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) and Dignity St. Johns Hospital are in the area also.
