Community Events for Seniors and Their Loved Ones in Moore

The annual Veterans Day Ceremony celebrates all of the brave, dedicated service members in the community. The city hosts tons of events and activities for seniors and families throughout the year. Be sure to regularly check on the city's upcoming events for the veterans ceremony and other activities.

The Moore Police Department shuts down South Broadway Avenue from 4th Street to 19th Street around 8:20 p.m. before the Christmas Spectacular fireworks show starts. The Fireworks show is approximately 10 minutes and then the Police reopen South Broadway Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Moore Central Park hosts the event usually early December.

There are ongoing support groups throughout the year.

Support group for anyone caring for or knows someone with Alzheimer’s or other types of Dementia. Help is available for loved ones while you attend the session. You are not on this journey alone.
