Vernon and Grace Atwood Recognized with RightSpirit Award

Vernon and Grace Atwood, owners of Right at Home in Cypress, California, received Right at Home’s Allen Hager RightSpirit Award for the West Region, named for the founder of Right at Home. The award honors Hager’s commitment to improving the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. The Atwoods were presented with the award at Right at Home’s annual conference in Dallas, Texas.

The Atwoods are committed to educating and celebrating the senior community at the Cypress Senior Center. The Right at Home Northwest Orange County team has provided more than 6,000 cupcakes to the Center’s monthly birthday celebration. They also participate in the Parkinson’s Foundation’s “Moving Day” and the annual Alzheimer’s walk. The Atwoods received the 2019 Home Care Pulse Provider of Choice and the 2019 Caring Star awards. In 2018, Right at Home Cypress was given the Cypress’ Agent Business of the Year Award. The Cypress Right at Home office also works with neighboring Right at Home offices on a partnership with USC.
